Data Encryption

  • SSD firmware is the key to the stored data’s security. If malicious programs want to steal data, they need to pass the firmware encryption authentication. In the firmware, the digital signature algorithm of the authentication firmware must go through a complex decryption and authentication algorithm before the firmware is executed. It is certified that any firmware program that has been tampered with will be rejected by this algorithm and cannot be executed in the solid-state drive.
    The encryption authentication algorithm is encrypted by the hardware security encryption module of the international security encryption certification when the firmware program is authenticated, and the private key required for encryption authentication is stored in the hardware security module, and its private key cannot be accessed by anyone, the data processed by the encryption algorithm cannot be recognized by ordinary devices.

Data Quick Erase

  • Special industry applications need to quickly delete data in solid state drives, which is called data quick erase in confidential industry applications. V&G Information can provide two ways to initiate the quick erase function, that is, the HOST command mode, which inputs data drase instructions through the data transmission bus, and the master receives the I/O port level signal to trigger data erase. After the data is erased, the SSD is emptied to an uninitialized state.

Physical destruction

  • In applications with extremely strong confidentiality requirements, data destruction cannot be confirmed as a safe confidential protection method. V&G Information provides users with a physical destruction function, that is, the NAND FLASH storage unit is destroyed by voltage and current to ensure that data is not leaked.
